The current inertial navigation system MINS 3 is the next generation of the well-proven MINS 2, which provides reliable service on many surface ships and submarines worldwide. MINS 3 is based on modern, state-of-the-art hemispheric resonance gyro technology. The system is equally suited for both newbuilds and retrofits, since its interfaces are freely configurable.
